A Little Paradise in Raja Ampat - Indonesia is a wide nation which has a lot of destination to travel. Since it comprises of lands and water, tourists can have both enjoyable tour while in Indonesia. Raja Ampat which means four kings is the name of several beautiful islands. These four islands are Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta, Misool which are identified as the creators of the ancient rock paintings. The region of Raja Ampat is very large; it covers 4.6 million hectares of land and sea. The sea is the home for 540 species of coral, 1,511 species of fish, and 700 species of molluscs. This makes Raja Ampat as a living library of the coral reefs and the most diverse sea creatures in the world. In addition, based on the report of the Nature Conservancy and Conservation International, there are about 75% of the world's underwater species which are living in this amazing island.

Tourists can start the tour by diving in the most beautiful sea. Diving in Raja Ampat is the best way to explore the underwater vertical wall and see the magnificent underwater sceneries. The sea current in Raja Ampat is really hard for the beginner; thus, you need to have proper skills to do this activity. Another way to do it is to dive with your professional diver, so you will be more secure. When you are diving in Raja Ampat, you will be greeted by a variety of endemic sea animals. The underwater animals consist of seahorses, manta ray and wobbegong or carpet shark, tuna, giant trevaliies, snapper, and barracuda which possibly greet you at the bottom of the sea. Furthermore, there is a friendly dugong which may accompany you to explore the underwater paradise. All you need while in this spot is to travel around and enjoy your underwater tour. Then, you are the lucky one you may be able to swim with exotic sea turtles.

The other destinations that you must not miss are eastern Waigeo and other islands like Salawati. In the eastern of Waigei, you can see the sea ghost which usually appears in front of the village Urbinasopen and Yesner. There is a unique and interesting natural phenomenon, and it can be seen by the year end. This sea ghost is a light which comes from the sea and pass through the surface of the sea for about 10-18 minutes. Then, you can travel to Tomolol since there is a cave which the wall has painted palms of the ancient’s hands.  You can go to the north of Waigeo to visit and even learn the history of Indonesia by visiting the caves of World War II which were used by the Dutch and the Japanese armies as their bunker.
